Who we are
Ideas in Politics is a series of conferences in political theory, political philosophy and related disciplines organised by the Institute of Political Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University together with its partner institutions.

Registration form
Our website may contain links to Google Forms, which are used to collect personal data for the purposes of preparing and organizing the conference. Personal data obtained through these forms are processed mainly for the purpose of:
- Communication with applicants and conference participants,
- Preparation of the conference program and other materials related to the organization of the conference,
- After the end of the conference, the data may be used for further communication with the participants regarding subsequent publications, or to invite them to future conferences, workshops or other events that may be of interest to them.
- Personal data are kept for the period necessary to achieve the above purposes. Unless otherwise stipulated by law, the data will be kept for a maximum of 5 years from the date of the conference, unless the participant expresses his/her objection to the further processing of his/her data. After this period, the data will be securely deleted.
Participants have the right at any time to request access to their data, their correction or deletion, as well as restriction of processing or object to their processing. All requests for the management of personal data can be directed to the contact email of the organizers listed on this website.
Who we share your data with
Our plugins send requests to third party APIs via website-visitor’s web browser to fetch information. This request made by a web browser may include an IP address, which can then be seen by the third-party that it’s being requested from. This API request doesn’t include any personal data of the website user other than the IP address.
How long we retain your data
Personal data are kept for the period necessary to achieve the above purposes. Unless otherwise stipulated by law, the data will be kept for a maximum of 5 years from the date of the conference. After this period, the data will be securely deleted.
What rights you have over your data
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
