Accommodation

We strongly encourage all participants to book their accommodation in Prague on time. While we are unable to book the accommodation on your behalf, we can offer some tips and special deals.

Stylish accommodation in the centre of Prague for a special price

We have negotiated a special offer for the conference participants at Metropol Hotel – a four star design hotel located in the centre of Prague only eight minutes of tram or metro ride away from the conference venue at €65 for a double room, breakfast included.

If you are interested in this offer, please fill in the registration form (which will be sent to you together with the confirmation of your conference registration) and send it directly to Metropol Hotel’s reservations desk by September 30.Nonetheless, since the number of rooms available for this price is limited, we strongly recommend that you make your reservation as soon as possible.

Please note that the reservation of your stay in Metropol Hotel can be cancelled free of charge only until October 12. If you cancel your reservation after this date, you will be charged 100% cancellation fee.

Luxurious accommodation in the heart of Prague’s Old Town

Only five very spacious suites in Charles University Hotel located in a beautifully renovated historical building in the very heart of Prague’s Old Town (less than five minutes walk from the Old Town Square, about 13 minutes by public transit from the conference venue) are available for the participants of our conference for CZK 1725 (approx. €66) for a single guest or CZK 2075 (approx. €80) for two guests including breakfast.

If you are interested in this offer, please send us an email. The subject line of your message should be “CELETNA HOTEL RESERVATION”.  In the body of your message your should specify the number (1 or 2) of the guests, as well as their full names.

Due to the limited nature of the offer (only five suites are available), the following conditions apply:

  • You can apply for a suite reservation only after you have completed your conference registration.
  • Reservations can be made only for three night stay (Nov. 2 – Nov. 5).
  • You have to send us your suite reservation application before August 31.

Staying in Prague on a budget (ideal for grad students)

If you have a limited budget for your stay in Prague, you may want to opt for a stay in one of Charles University student dormitories, which offer single rooms starting at CZK 500 (approx. € 19) per night. Important note: Charles University student dorms are located at various locations around Prague. If you have a choice, you should opt for a location within a walking distance from a Metro station or a tram stop. To inquire about available dorm rooms and to make a reservation, please send an email to Charles University Dormitories and Refectories Administration.

Other options

You may of course opt to look for your accommodation independently through your preferred travel agent or one of the popular online hotel booking services.
